Patient of the Month - February 2011
In January 2010, while working, I fell over a box left on the floor and knocked my left shoulder out of the socket. I put it back in myself and then had to report to the workers compensation doctor. He took x-rays and said everything looked fine and there was nothing broken. As time passed, I still had pain in my left shoulder and was not able to lift my arm or use it to do ordinary tasks. Also, I had a hard time getting up while sitting and when I would get up to move; I had to wait a moment to adjust to standing before I was able to start walking.
The New Cumberland Fire Department, which I have been a member of for over 55 years, invited Dr. Zabinski to come and talk with the department in early summer. After listening to Dr. Z speak about chiropractic care, general spine wellness and how it affects the whole body, I spoke with him regarding the pain in my arm/shoulder that I still had from the fall in addition to a pain in my foot that I have been experiencing and asked if he thought he would be able to help me. He told me to come in and meet with him.
Since I have been seeing Dr. Z, I have to say the pain in my arm is gone. I am able to stand up and move without having to wait for my body to adjust and the pain in my foot is gone. I feel so much better and so much happier now that I don’t have all the pain.
As I mentioned, I have been a volunteer fireman and am now currently a volunteer fire policeman for the borough of New Cumberland. Being a fire policeman I am always using my arms to direct traffic at fire/accident incidents, and before seeing Dr. Zabinski, it was difficult to do what I needed to do with my left arm. Now, when I am out working, I have no pain directing traffic.
Dr. Zabinski is very caring, kind and wants nothing but the best for you. I have recommended Dr. Zabinski to several people, two are family members; my daughter and my sister, and they have both thanked me for the recommendation as they are feeling better too.
I want to say thanks to Dr. Zabinski, Darby and Josh for their dedication and making me feel welcomed!
